Backup Test Restore
- How will Acropolis know if my backup tapes are operating correctly?
- If you would like, An Acropolis engineer will select random files to perform a test restore on a recurring basis to ensure that the data on the tapes can be restored. If you are having tape backup problems, ask us about our ImageVault tapeless Backup/Disaster Recovery system. This needs to be addressed and determined at the time of the agreement.
- How often will Acropolis perform test restores on my network?
- Acropolis will remotely log in to complete this task once a month for the duration of the agreement.
- Do I have to do anything special on the day these test restores are completed?
- No. The test restores will be seamless and you will not notice them being completed.
