How will Acropolis know if my backup tapes are operating correctly?

If you would like, An Acropolis engineer will select random files to perform a test restore on a recurring basis to ensure that the data on the tapes can be restored. If you are having tape backup problems, ask us about our ImageVault tapeless Backup/Disaster Recovery system. This needs to be addressed and determined at the time of the agreement.

How often will Acropolis perform test restores on my network?

Acropolis will remotely log in to complete this task once a month for the duration of the agreement.

Do I have to do anything special on the day these test restores are completed?

No. The test restores will be seamless and you will not notice them being completed.
