- What role can Acropolis play in successful project implantation?
- We provide project services for clients of many differing sizes and industries. Acropolis can handle the end to end execution or work with your existing staff to achieve required benchmarks.
- What should I expect once I approve the project?
- First of all, you will be formally assigned a Technical Project Manager that will work closely with you on all technical aspects of the project. He/she will finalize the project plan, review the plan, assign Acropolis resources, and begin execution. If you would like to find out more about what to expect, please discuss all of your concerns with your Account Manager.
- Can you break down my proposal?
- Sure. We typically break down a proposal into two parts - equipment total and labor total. We perform projects on a fixed fee basis with a pre-approved scope of work.
- Do you propose scope-driven projects or time and material projects?
- We can perform both fixed fee and time & materials projects depending on the type and scope of project.
- What are some typical deliverables on an Acropolis managed project?
- We completely document all aspects of the project with the goal of being able to “hand off” project documents to facilitate future support.
- What are the most important aspects that I need to consider to make a project successful?
- The most successful projects are the ones that have been thought through before and beyond project completion. The most frequently overlooked aspects are planning, end user training and support. These three crucial but frequently overlooked aspects are typically the difference between success and failure.
- Do you help with the design and planning phases of the project?
- Yes. It is typically the only way that we perform projects. By getting involved early on, we can work with you in the planning phases to ensure that the project is a success. Frequently, we can introduce options that you may not have known existed – ultimately saving significant time, money, and resources.
- What types of projects can Acropolis assist me with?
- Most of our projects center around three core partners – Microsoft, Cisco, and Citrix.
- I source my own product. Can I continue to do so with an Acropolis managed project?
- Of course. The only thing we request is that prior to purchasing we can review and be a part of specifying and approving the equipment that will make up the project.
- What size clients does Acropolis perform projects for?
- We provide project services for all client sizes and types. The common denominator is that the client understands the strategic importance of technology in their business.
- Can I get a list of references from client that have had similar projects performed?
- Of course. We typically do not post these on our website for competitive reasons. If you would like references, just ask your Account Manager.
