20 year anniversary of Acropolis Technology Group!
Wow, it is hard to believe it has been 20 years at Acropolis.
As Acropolis Technology Group celebrates twenty years in business, my brother (Brad) and I would like to thank both our employees and the thousands of client’s who have been here over the years. We want to make an honorable mention to the people who began this journey with us over 15 years ago: Gary Sanner, Kevin Geiger, Sugi Rule, John Yarborough, Barton Olney & Pat Shansey. It is difficult to put into words the impact you have made on our Acropolis Family. Your loyalty, compassion, and dedication are the foundation for all of the greatness over the years.
It is impossible to adequately describe what these 20 years have been like. Exciting, challenging, scary, humbling, and awesome are just a few that come to mind. We have experienced every adjective listed in the English language yet we still achieve improvement above all else. We are in the business of facing challenges and look forward to it every day. Here’s to never forgetting the past 20 years and reinventing the next 20 with all of you!

Acropolis re-certifies PCI compliance
Merchant Services Company Clearent has re-certified Acropolis Technology Group as PCI DSS compliant.
PCI DSS is a company specific certification that looks not only at your handling of credit card information but also the processes and security in the handling of payment data. PCI compliance is a company by company standard. Acropolis hosting services are PCI friendly meaning that our security and services will never be the reason that our clients are not PCI compliant. We are SSAE16-Type II certified validating that Acropolis operations adhere and follow strict policies regarding security and operations.

Get Fit - Acropolis completes the Warrior Dash and Wood River Triathlon
August 9, 2014 - Several Acropolonians trained for and competed in two events over this past weekend; The 29th Annual Wood River Sprint Triathlon and the Warrior Dash. Tracy Butler, James Turnbaugh, John Yarborough and Scott Ramage all completed the triathlon. For two members it was their first event since having surgery on a shoulder and an ankle.
Laura Jacobs competed in the Warrior Dash with her teenage son. Everyone is sore but very pleased with their performances with several significantly lowering their times from last year.

Acropolis 2014 Kick Off Party
Acropolonians celebrated the start of 2014 with our annual Kickoff Party at the Brunswick Zone in St. Charles, Missouri. We discussed plans for the upcoming year, bowled (we’re still better at IT than bowling) and played some laser tag.
The Acropolis team recently gathered at the Lemp Mansion in St. Louis to celebrate the holidays and a successful 2013. They enjoyed an interactive mystery theater show during dinner.
The evening began with Acropolis President Tracy Butler announcing the annual MVP awards, designed to recognize exemplary employees who went above and beyond the call of duty in the past year.

Congratulations to several Acropolonians in completing their first triathlon
Acropolis Technology Group is proud to announce the completion of our wellness initiative for 2013. Acropolis partnered with the Metro East Tri Club in the Fit to be Tri’d triathlon challenge. The challenge was for anyone at Acropolis who wanted a jump start to fitness could sign up with training support from the tri club culminating in the completion of the longest running triathlon in the area, the Wood River Triathlon. Acropolis had 8 complete the event this weekend with several being first timers. At the same time, a fellow Acropolonian, Jeff Harris, was competing and completed his first Olympic distance triathlon at Carlyle Lake!
Congratulations to Barton, Kevin, Brad, Tracy, Scott, Laura, James, and John! All have said they want to do it again next year!
Acropolis opens our new break room
Today Acropolis would like to thank EVERYONE that has worked so hard to give us the opportunity to add our new improved break room. Our hope is that our team accepts this very small token of our success and know how much we appreciate what the Acropolonians do each and every day. On behalf of everyone on the executive team we hope that our staff enjoys a nice area to take a breather, grab a soda & enjoy a snack.

We are soo much better at IT than bowling
It’s a good thing we are better at technology than we are at bowling because aside from a few, we aren’t that good at bowling! The service team spent the evening bowling at Tropicana Lanes on April 24th. If pitchers of beer, pizza, and chicken bites were a sport we would hold our own.
Great time had by all and I would like to attest for the fact that the pin guard does withstand a 16 pound ball thrown by MIke Scott.
